How can I make connections to boat and go on trips?https://groups.io/g/ChicoPaddleheads: Use the phone/email list to round up a boating party or organize or come along on an excursion, or come to the monthly meetings to connect with paddlers or pose potential outings. Or come along on a posted trip.
Where do you boat around here?: Butte Creek and the Feather River are local whitewater favorites, other rivers include the Trinity, Yuba, and S. American. Flatwater favorites include the Sacramento River, Lake Almanor, Stony Gorge Reservoir, and the Diversion Pool (in Oroville).

the Feather River Festival and we also conduct river clean-ups and work on local conservation and whitewater issues.
Are you strictly a whitewater club?: No, we have members of all abilities and ages and many flat-water members.
